Activity Director

A skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Chillicothe is seeking a compassionate, creative, and organized Activity Director to lead our Activities Department. This position is responsible for developing and implementing engaging programs that enhance the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and oversee a comprehensive activities program

• Develop meaningful individual and group activities based on resident interests and abilities

• Complete required documentation and maintain activity calendars

• Coordinate special events, holiday celebrations, and community involvement

• Supervise activity staff and volunteers as applicable

• Encourage resident and family participation

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in long-term care activities preferred

• MEPAP Certification preferred, but not required

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Experience with PointClickCare preferred

• Compassionate, energetic, and resident-focused

• Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays for special events
