About the Role:

As a Unit Manager (LPN/RN), you will be responsible for managing a team of licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and registered nurses (RNs) on our med-surgical unit. Your primary duties will include:

• Leading and managing a team of nursing staff to ensure cohesive and effective care delivery

• Developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team

• Monitoring and reporting on patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes as needed

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, medication administration, and treatment plans

• Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication

Requirements:

• Degree in nursing (LPN/RN) with current license in the state of Ohio

• Minimum 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on med-surgical care

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility and adaptability
