Job Description
Hiawatha Care Cente is actively hiring a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead daily operations and drive high-quality, resident-centered care. The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) oversees all aspects of facility performance, including clinical oversight, staff leadership, regulatory compliance, and operational results. As a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA), you will ensure the facility delivers safe, compliant, and compassionate care to all residents.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the facility as the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing long-term care operations
Lead, mentor, and support department directors and management staff
Foster a culture of quality care, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Oversee budgets, staffing, census development, financial performance, and operational goals
Maintain survey readiness and serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies
Build positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, hospitals, and community partners
Develop and implement policies and procedures that improve resident outcomes and operational efficiency
Promote resident rights, safety, satisfaction, and exceptional customer service
Collaborate with the leadership team to achieve strategic goals and ensure organizational success
Qualifications
Current Iowa Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license required
Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting preferred
Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state licensing requirements, and survey readiness
Proven experience leading teams, managing budgets, and achieving operational goals
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to build strong relationships with employees, residents, families, and healthcare partners
