A well-established Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee nursing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a high-quality clinical team.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required

• Prior experience as a Director of Nursing or Assistant DON in a skilled nursing facility

• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations (CMS, survey process, QAPI)

• Proven leadership and staff management skills

• Experience with clinical compliance, audits, and quality improvement

• Patient-centered and team-oriented leadership style

Job Description:

• Oversee all nursing services and clinical operations within the facility

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

• Lead, mentor, and supervise nursing leadership and staff

• Develop, implement, and enforce clinical policies and procedures

• Monitor quality indicators, infection control, and resident outcomes

• Prepare for and manage state and federal surveys

• Collaborate with administration, medical staff, and interdisciplinary teams

• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and performance evaluations
