Working RN Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Working RN Supervisor to join our leadership team. Position Summary

The Working RN Supervisor is responsible for supervising nursing staff while actively managing a medication/treatment cart and providing direct patient care. This position ensures clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and a supportive team environment throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) during assigned shift
• Provide direct resident care, including medication administration and treatments
• Respond to clinical concerns, changes in condition, and emergencies
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Complete clinical assessments and follow up on physician orders
• Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing team members
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed
• Maintain communication with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
• Long-term care experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical and assessment skills
• Ability to multitask while maintaining high standards of care
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
