Director Of Nursing

Eleanor Nursing Care Center is looking for an exceptional Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our outstanding clinical team at our 120-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in beautiful Hyde Park, New York.

• Lead and oversee all nursing operations within our 120-bed skilled nursing facility.

• Inspire, mentor, and develop a talented team of nursing professionals.

• Partner with the Administrator and Regional Clinical Team to achieve exceptional clinical outcomes.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory standards.

• Drive quality improvement initiatives and promote a culture of continuous excellence.

• Build a positive, resident-centered environment where both employees and residents thrive.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Previous nursing leadership experience (Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, Unit Manager, or similar leadership role preferred).

• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Working knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical best practices.

• A compassionate leader who motivates others and leads by example.
