Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Duties

- Oversee day-to-day nursing operations and resident care on the unit

- Supervise, schedule, and support nursing staff, including LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurses) and CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants)

- Ensure care plans are followed and documentation is complete and accurate

- Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team

- Monitor quality of care and compliance with facility and state standards

- Salary: $90,000 per year

Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Qualifications

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State

- Prior unit manager or nursing leadership experience preferred

- Must have experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting — prior nursing home experience is required
