Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the food service department, including menu planning, food preparation, and serving

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including infection control, dietary, and food safety standards

• Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents, including those with special dietary requirements

• Manage and supervise a team of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and housekeeping personnel

• Monitor and control food costs, inventories, and labor costs to ensure efficient operations and budgetary compliance

• Develop and implement strategies to improve food quality, presentation, and taste

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement resident-centered care plans

• Ensure that all food service operations are conducted with the highest level of customer service and compassion

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in food service management, Nutrition, or a related field

• Minimum 0 years of experience in a Food Service Director role (food service management or supervision experience preferred)

• Strong knowledge of food service operations, menu planning, and food safety standards

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks and responsibilities

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
