Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit

  • Assess resident needs and ensure individualized care plans are implemented

  • Supervise and support nursing staff while promoting quality resident care

  • Conduct routine nursing rounds and monitor resident outcomes

  • Coordinate care with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members

  • Ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance

  • Educate residents, families, and staff as needed

  • Participate in staff coaching, development, and performance evaluations

  • Monitor medication administration and nursing practices

  • Maintain compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations

  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, and unit management responsibilities

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership

Qualifications
  • Active Wisconsin RN or LPN license in good standing

  • Previous long-term care experience preferred

  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

  • Computer proficiency and experience with electronic health records preferred

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
