About the Role:
1ABOVE QUALITY SERVICES LLC is looking for a motivated and hands-on Working Team Lead to oversee Federal Custodial Services in Norfolk, VA. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and work alongside custodial team members to ensure federal facility cleanliness standards are met
• Perform hands-on janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing restrooms, and trash removal
• Assign tasks and manage daily workflow to ensure efficient completion of custodial operations
• Conduct quality control inspections to verify compliance with federal contract requirements and standards
• Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting shortages to management
• Ensure adherence to OSHA safety regulations and federal facility security protocols

Requirements:

• Prior experience in commercial or federal custodial/janitorial services required
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance or building access credentials
• Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and industry best practices
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, and moving for extended periods
