Director of Nursing (DON) Job Summary:
As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing facilities. You will lead a team of licensed nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Your expertise will enable you to develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, quality of care, and clinical outcomes.
Director of Nursing (DON) Responsibilities:
• Oversee the overall direction and management of our nursing staff, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality care and services
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and clinical standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and services
• Manage and supervise nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and feedback to promote professional growth and development
• Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed
• Develop and manage our facility's budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve business objectives
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
Director of Nursing (DON) Requirements:
• Minimum of five years of experience as a Director of Nursing or in a similar leadership role
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Pennsylvania
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring nursing staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to think critically and make sound decisions, with a focus on improving patient care and outcomes
