Massage Therapist

Job Summary

• Performs manual massage therapy and develops treatment and therapy plans.
• Maintains a clean and tidy workplace.
• Assists with spa duties such as laundry, light cleaning, and client hospitality.

General Accountabilities

• Provides physical evaluation techniques to determine muscle strength and joint stability.
• Performs therapy to control pain, reduce stress, and promote relaxation.
• Develops treatment plans by determining clinical data prescribed by doctors.
• Takes into consideration the medical history of the patient.
• Uses therapeutic devices and techniques.
• Documents daily sessions.
• Attends clinics, as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience, or an associate's degree
• Experience: Appropriate certifications and/or licensures with some previous work-related experience
