The Director of Admissions will serve as the initial contact person for those seeking placement at our Skilled Nursing Facility as well as coordinating the pre-admission process. The Director of Admissions identifies and maintains relationships with hospital discharge planners and other referral sources related to possible admissions. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and has strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Nursing Home Admissions Director, and thorough knowledge of all local hospital systems.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license

Excellent communication and organization skills

Customer service experience 

Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic procedures

Experience with nursing home EMR highly preferred
