Location: Rockford, IL

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 annually

We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations at a busy skilled nursing facility in the Rockford, Illinois area.

The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing nursing services, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving clinical outcomes, and supporting a culture of excellence in resident care.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage all nursing department operations
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and retention initiatives
• Monitor clinical quality indicators and survey readiness
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to improve resident outcomes
• Mentor and develop nursing leaders, including ADONs and Unit Managers
• Manage infection prevention, quality assurance, and risk management programs
• Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, and staff

Qualifications:
• Active Illinois RN license
• Prior Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and survey process
• Experience managing large nursing teams
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
