Job Description
We have 2 open positions for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in a part-time weekend shift (and one full-time role) caring for those with developmental disabilities and helping them to live a better life. We care for individuals around the clock and currently have positions available in the Frederick areas. We are looking for those with reliability, integrity and heart. This includes implementation of and note-taking in support of individual plans (IP) and behavior plans (BP) in accordance with State of Maryland regulations and organizational policies and procedures. This role includes driving, cooking, cleaning, caring for fellow humans and providing personal encouragement.
We are looking for those who have: certifications in First Aid, CPR, and CMT, good driving record, ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs., 2 years of experience assisting people with developmental disabilities as well as ability to acquire all State DDA Core trainings soon after hire.
