The Opportunity
We are seeking a Licensed Funeral Director who possesses a unique blend of empathy, professional precision, and administrative leadership. In this role, you will do more than just manage logistics—ours is a mission of comfort, guiding families through their most difficult moments with dignity and grace.
Your Impact
Family Advocacy: Consult with bereaved families to arrange personalized funeral details, from obituary wording to service coordination, providing counsel and comfort throughout the process.
Service Excellence: Oversee the preparation of remains and perform embalming duties with the highest level of professional care.
Operational Leadership: Manage funeral home operations, including staff supervision, facility upkeep, and leading funeral processions.
Strategic Growth: Participate in long-term planning, budget development, and community outreach to promote the home’s mission.
Tech-Forward Management: Utilize automated systems to enhance operations and ensure fiscal integrity and regulatory compliance.
What You Bring
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in funeral service and operations.
Education: An Associate’s degree in Mortuary Science or a related field.
Licensure: A current, valid Pennsylvania Funeral Director License is required.
Skills: * Exceptional social perceptiveness and "service-first" orientation.
Critical thinking and the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
Strong coordination and time management skills.
