About the Role:
E-Z Pawn in Glennville, GA is looking for a motivated and experienced Pawnshop Manager to lead our team and keep our store running at its best. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll help customers every day while driving sales and managing operations. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pawnshop operations including buying, selling, and loaning against collateral items
- Evaluate and appraise merchandise such as jewelry, electronics, tools, and firearms
- Lead, train, and schedule store staff to ensure excellent customer service
- Manage inventory, merchandise displays, and retail floor organization
- Ensure compliance with state and local pawn regulations and reporting requirements
- Handle cash management, daily reconciliation, and store financial reporting
- Build customer relationships and resolve complaints professionally
Requirements:
- Prior experience in retail management, pawnshop operations, or a related field preferred but not mandatory
- Strong appraisal and product knowledge skills across multiple merchandise categories
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage and motivate a small team in a retail environment
- Basic math and computer skills for point-of-sale and reporting systems
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
