Mechanical MEP Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical MEP Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in HVAC design to support commercial, healthcare, education, and mixed-use projects. This role will focus on designing and coordinating mechanical systems from concept through construction, ensuring code compliance, efficiency, and constructability.

Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC systems including load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork, and hydronic systems
• Prepare construction documents and specifications using Revit
• Perform energy code compliance and ventilation calculations
• Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, and architectural teams
• Participate in client meetings and respond to contractor RFIs
• Support construction administration and occasional site visits

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2–5 years of HVAC design experience in the MEP industry
• Proficiency in Revit required
• EIT required or actively on the path to obtaining EIT certification
• PE license is a plus
• Strong understanding of mechanical codes (IMC, ASHRAE standards)
• Excellent communication and time management skills
