Registered Nurse (RN) - Med-Surg | Full-Time

Job Summary

Join a dedicated Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a fast-paced acute care hospital. In this role, you'll provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care, coordinate treatment plans, administer medications, and work closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes. You'll also play an important role in educating patients and their families throughout the recovery process.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions, document clinical findings, and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License (Florida license required within 90 days if holding a compact license).
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum recent Acute Care Registered Nurse experience required (LTAC-only experience will not qualify).
• Current BLS Certification.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $30.00–$42.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Night Shift Differential: $4.75/hour
• Weekend Differential: $3.00/hour
• Sign-On Bonus: Available on a case-by-case basis
