Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT (MR) certification and experience with Siemens MR equipment for a 3x12 day shift contract at an acute care hospital.

• MRI department within an acute care hospital system
\n
• Day shifts, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
\n
• Schedule covers Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
\n
• Experience with anesthesia and pediatric patients required
\n
• Siemens MR equipment experience required
\n
• Epic and PACS experience preferred
\n
• No on-call required
\n
• Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital may be required
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active ARRT (MR) and BLS certifications required
\n
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
\n
• 2+ years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or teaching facility preferred
\n
• MRI safety knowledge required, including implant research and adherence to scanning guidelines
\n
• Proficiency with Siemens MR equipment required
\n
• Experience with anesthesia and pediatric patient populations required
\n
• Epic and PACS experience preferred
\n
• State license required if applicable
\n
• At least 1 supervisor reference required for consideration
\n
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
\n

Additional Information\n

• Perform MRI scans in accordance with safety protocols, including implant screening and scanning guideline adherence
\n
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from all affiliated facilities for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
\n
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility should be prepared to disclose that history, as rehire eligibility will be verified
\n
• All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission — RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
\n
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment are required
\n
