Activities Coordinator Life Enrichment

Our ideal candidate is someone who is creative, personable, reliable, fun, and a real go-getter.\nThis position starts at $19.89 per hour (or more, depending on experience), working variable hours. This is a casual status role with no set schedule - able to pick up shifts and cover gaps when needed.\nAs a Life Enrichment Activities Coordinator, you will enrich lives across our community by assisting in the planning and implementation of an activities program that meets the physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of our residents. You will have the daily opportunity to exercise your creativity and your ability to encourage and motivate others, and to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their families.\nThe ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will:\n • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent\n • Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record\n • Have a genuine interest in working in a geriatric environment with elderly residents including those with Alzheimer’s and Dementia\n • Have experience working with a social or recreational activities program\n • Enjoy working as part of a team to arrange, organize, and assist with activities both on and off campus, such as holiday and birthday celebrations, social events, community outings, and exercise programs\n • Have a commitment to confidentiality in respect to resident status and medical history\n • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors\n*All team members are eligible for paid time off, access to 401K plans and double-time pay on holidays.
