Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel Emergency Department position at a critical access hospital in Oregon, with floating requirements to Med/Surg and weekend availability required.

  • Work setting is a 25-bed critical access hospital with a Trauma Level IV designation
  • \n
  • Emergency Department position with float responsibility to Med/Surg as needed
  • \n
  • Candidates with OB experience are strongly preferred for the float capability
  • \n
  • Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45am–7:15pm
  • \n
  • Weekend availability is required
  • \n
  • Block scheduling may be accommodated depending on days needed
  • \n
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Active Oregon RN license required; pending license accepted with proof of application submitted
  • \n
  • Minimum 1 year of ER nursing experience required
  • \n
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and TNCC
  • \n
  • Preferred certifications: NIHSS and NRP
  • \n
  • Must be willing and able to float to Med/Surg
  • \n

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply

  • All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration and will not be approved after an offer is made; maximum of 5 days RTO, with only 1 holiday approvable — candidates cannot take every holiday off

  • Former employees must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • \n
  • No scrub color restrictions — any colors or patterns are welcome
  • \n
