WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Greeting customers and running the register
• Taking food orders (in person and over the phone)
• Keeping the store and restaurant clean and organized
• Stocking shelves and helping wherever needed

Responsibilities

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly.
• Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product information or demos to enhance their shopping experience.
• Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision, maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
• Upsell products and services by recommending relevant items to meet customer needs and increase sales.
• Maintain clean, organized checkout areas, including merchandising and stocking shelves as needed.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries.
• Support store operations by managing inventory levels, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are well-presented for shoppers.

Experience

• Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Bilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions, giving correct change, and performing retail math calculations.
• Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within the team.
• Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail environments will help you excel in this role.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
