About the Role:
Steve Hay Sole Prop is looking for a skilled Commercial Journeyman Plumber to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for commercial projects
• Perform rough-in plumbing, finish work, and system testing on commercial job sites
• Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues and implement effective solutions
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades on job sites
• Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and materials to ensure job site readiness

Requirements:

• Valid California Journeyman Plumber license required
• Minimum 4+ years of commercial plumbing experience
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical plumbing schematics
• Strong knowledge of California plumbing codes and safety regulations
• Experience with commercial pipe systems including copper, PVC, cast iron, and PEX
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation and ability to report to job sites in the Santa Clara, CA area
