About the Role:
Steve Hay Sole Prop is looking for a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain residential and/or commercial plumbing systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building plans
• Ensure all work meets local codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Collaborate with contractors, inspectors, and clients on job site requirements
• Perform rough-in and finish plumbing on new construction and remodel projects
• Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness

Requirements:

• Valid California Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent certification
• Proven experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing
• Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and safety regulations in Santa Clara, CA
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on job sites
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-friendly demeanor
