Riveter - 1st Shift

Are you looking for a hands-on manufacturing position with a four-day workweek? A local manufacturer is seeking dependable Riveters to join their 1st shift production team. In this role, you will help assemble high-quality aluminum boats using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices while working in a fast-paced team environment.

Pay: $20.13 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, 1st Shift
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Overtime on Fridays as needed

Requirements

Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Basic mechanical aptitude and assembly skills
Experience using hand tools and power tools preferred
Ability to read tape measures and other measuring devices
Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to use hands and wrists frequently during assembly tasks
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with elevated noise levels
Ability to work safely in temperatures that may reach or exceed 100°F
Must be able to safely enter and exit boats during the assembly process
Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check

Riveter

Follow all safety procedures and properly wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Perform daily housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Assemble aluminum boat components according to specifications
Operate drills, air hammers, pop riveters, grinders, sanders, and other power tools
Use measuring tools such as tape measures and squares to ensure accurate assembly
Inspect work and maintain quality standards throughout the production process
Work efficiently to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate with team members to complete projects safely and on schedule
Be available to work overtime when production demands require it
