Why This Role Matters
This role supports the assembly, testing, reconditioning, and movement of equipment used in environmental protection systems. It’s a hands-on opportunity for someone looking to build skills in a manufacturing and industrial setting.
What You’ll Be Doing
Perform abrasive blasting on small tanks and piping systems to meet SSPC surface cleanliness and profile requirements
Prepare equipment and surfaces for painting and coating through cleaning, solvent wiping, taping, and masking
Mix and apply paints and linings in accordance with manufacturer specifications and application requirements
Inspect surface preparation and coating applications for quality, compliance, and defects, making repairs as needed
Document inspection results, monitor ambient conditions, and verify coating thickness and surface profiles using required gauges and tools
Operate forklifts and assist with blasting, painting, and other production-related tasks as required
Maintain compliance with company safety procedures, policies, and quality standards
This role includes varied, active work—no two days look the same.
What We’re Looking For
1+ years of general labor experience
High school diploma or GED preferred
Sand blasting preferred
Ability to read basic instructions and drawings
Comfortable working in a manufacturing or shop environment
Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
Reliable attendance and teamwork mindset
Schedule
Monday–Friday: Day and afternoon shift rotation (details reviewed during interview)
Overtime opportunities based on business needs
Pay & Benefits
Starting at $24.38/hour with a structured wage progression program that provides opportunities for scheduled pay increases.
Shift Differential: Additional $3.00 per hour for qualifying shifts
Retention Bonus: $500 after successfully completing 9 months of employment
