Full Time | 8am-4pm and every other weekend | $16.50-$17.75/hour

About the Role:

As an Activity Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing activities that promote socialization, mental stimulation, and physical well-being. You will work closely with our recreation therapy team to create engaging programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead activities such as arts and crafts, games, exercise classes, and outings

• Assist with the development and implementation of special events and programs

• Provide supportive care to residents, including assisting with daily living tasks and providing emotional support

• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity schedules

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services

• Maintain a clean and organized activity department

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 0 years of experience in healthcare or a related field

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift, bend, and move with ease
