Activity Assistant Job Summary:

Premier Washington Health Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Activity Assistant to join our team. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating engaging and meaningful experiences for our residents. You will plan and implement recreational and therapeutic activities, promote socialization, and foster a sense of community among our residents. Activity Assistant Responsibilities:

• Implement activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities, including arts and crafts, music, exercise, and social events
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, family members, and healthcare staff to ensure individualized care and support
• Collaborate with the therapy team to develop and implement activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being
• Conduct recreational activities, such as outings, games, and entertainment programs
• Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and resident feedback
• Communicate with family members and healthcare staff to share resident progress and concerns
• Contribute to a positive and caring environment by promoting respect, empathy, and compassion

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
