At Hallmark Healthcare of Carlinville, we're looking for a compassionate and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our leadership team! In this role, you will oversee nursing operations, support staff development, and help ensure the highest quality of resident care within our skilled nursing facility. Your Role:

• Treat and care for residents and their property with dignity and respect

• Oversee nursing operations and ensure quality resident care services

• Work cooperatively with healthcare team members to maintain established standards of care

• Maintain confidentiality of resident medical records and nursing documentation

• Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal healthcare regulations

• Train, mentor, and onboard nursing staff members

• Implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives

• Assist with care planning, risk management, and performance improvement programs

• Conduct daily rounds to support nursing staff and resident care operations

• Support corrective action plans and ongoing quality assurance measures

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Who We’re Looking For:

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• Previous nursing leadership experience in long-term care preferred

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Dependable and professional team player with reliable attendance

• Passionate about providing compassionate, hometown care

• Enthusiastic about supporting staff development and resident well-being
