Activities Assistant – Nursing Home

We’re looking for a creative and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team! In this role, you’ll help plan and lead engaging recreational activities for our residents, promoting social interaction, mental stimulation, and physical well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with organizing daily group and individual activities

• Encourage resident participation

• Help decorate and set up for events and holidays

• Document attendance and resident engagement

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Previous experience with seniors or in an activities role preferred

• Energetic, patient, and reliable

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule: PRN, including some weekends and holidays.
