About the Role:
As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in fostering a sense of purpose and fulfillment among our patients and residents. You will assist with the planning, organization, and implementation of activities, events, and programs designed to promote socialization, recreation, and overall well-being. Your goal will be to create a welcoming and engaging environment that caters to diverse interests and abilities.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and implementation of activity programs, including arts and crafts, games, and entertainment
Encourage socialization and interaction among patients and residents through group activities and one-on-one conversations
Assist with meal services, including setting tables and serving meals
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and residents
Maintain accurate records and documentation of activities and programs
Collaborate with the Activity Director and other team members to ensure seamless program execution
Ideal Candidate:
High school diploma or equivalent required
0 years of experience in healthcare or a related field (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
