Barre Gardens – Barre, VT
Barre Gardens is seeking Dietary Assistants and Cooks to join our skilled nursing facility in Barre, VT!
In these roles, you will work alongside other dietary and healthcare professionals to provide quality food service for our residents while following established dietary policies, procedures, and food safety standards.
Shifts AvailableFull-Time
Part-Time
PRN
Assist in serving meals in a timely manner
Assist the cook with meal preparation and food production
Prepare and cook meals in accordance with planned menus, standardized recipes, and special diet orders (Cook)
Follow proper portion control and food safety procedures (Cook)
Clean worktables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, and other kitchen equipment
Serve food trays from carts and dining rooms and transport them to the dishwashing area
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment
Follow all dietary, sanitation, and infection control policies
High school diploma or GED preferred

Previous dietary, food service, or cooking experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
