About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced MDS Coordinator to join our healthcare team in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and completing the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete and oversee all MDS assessments in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure compliance with current regulations and guidelines
• Coordinate with nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
• Monitor resident care plans and ensure they reflect current needs and conditions
• Participate in care plan meetings and audits
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Provide training and support to staff regarding MDS processes

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license (or equivalent qualification as required)
• Previous experience as an MDS Coordinator or in long-term care
• Strong knowledge of MDS processes and regulatory standards
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in healthcare documentation systems
