As a member of the Gates Health and Rehabilitation Center team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Floor Techs to join our Housekeeping Department on a PART-TIME basis. This role is perfect for individuals who take pride in their work and understand the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping and cleaning duties as assigned

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces and floors

• Dispose of trash and waste according to facility procedures

• Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation guidelines

• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly

• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or supply needs to supervisor

• Maintain assigned areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition

• Protect resident privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Attention to detail and strong work ethic

• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Standing and walking for extended periods

• Bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching as needed

• Ability to handle cleaning equipment and supplies
