Job Description

Now Hiring: Dietary Aide / Food Service Worker

People Plus is hiring dependable and compassionate Dietary Aides / Food Service Workers for a locally owned and operated nursing home group dedicated to providing quality care and nutritious meals to residents.

Pay:

1st Shift: $12.00/hour
2nd Shift: $13.00/hour

Shifts Available:

1st Shift: 4:30 AM – 12:00 PM
2nd Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Weekend Shift

Responsibilities:

Assist with meal preparation and food service
Serve meals according to dietary guidelines and special diet requirements
Maintain portion control and food quality standards
Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas
Wash dishes and keep the kitchen organized
Support residents during meal service as needed
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
Work closely with the dietary and nursing teams

Qualifications:

Previous food service or dietary experience is preferred, but not required
Ability to follow directions and dietary instructions
Dependable with excellent attendance
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Willing to work assigned shifts, including weekends
Passion for providing respectful, resident-centered care
