Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our team of healthcare professionals at Morningstar Residential Care Center in Oswego, New York. As a key member of our leadership team, the Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department, ensuring the highest level of quality care for our residents. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing services to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies

• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and collaboration

• Ensure that all nursing staff receive adequate training and support to provide high-quality patient care

• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed

• Collaborate with other department leaders to develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives

• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among nursing staff

• Participate in budget planning and management, ensuring that nursing services are delivered within budget constraints

• Represent the organization in local and regional nursing associations, and participate in community outreach and education initiatives
