Job Description
Behavior Consultant (BC) – Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS)

Location: Philadelphia, PA (West, Southwest, North, & Northwest areas)
Compensation: Fee-for-Service | $40–$45 per hour (based on licensure, experience, and availability)

Lead, Empower, Transform — Where Clinical Expertise Meets Community Impact.

At Dunbar Wellness Group, we’re redefining behavioral health care. Each Behavior Consultant (BC) in our Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) program serves as a clinical leader, guiding children, families, and schools toward meaningful, measurable change.

As a Behavior Consultant (BC), you must have a Master’s degree in a clinical behavioral-health discipline (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Applied Behavior Analysis). You’ll design and oversee evidence-based behavior plans that strengthen emotional regulation, build adaptive skills, and empower families. You’ll enjoy flexible scheduling, professional autonomy, and the full support of a compassionate, mission-driven team that values excellence and collaboration.

Why Join Dunbar Wellness Group?
  • Clinical Autonomy, Real Support: Manage your schedule while receiving consistent supervision and consultation.

  • Purpose-Driven Work: Every Behavior Consultant (BC) plays a vital role in helping children reach their potential.

  • Professional Growth: Access advanced training, licensure supervision, and leadership opportunities.

  • Collaborative Culture: Partner with Mobile Therapists (MTs), Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs), and families across home, school, and community settings.

  • Work–Life Integration: Build a caseload that matches your goals while making a difference in your community.

What You’ll Do as a Behavior Consultant (BC)
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and create individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

  • Develop behavioral systems using reinforcement, token economies, and data-driven progress monitoring.

  • Train and coach families, teachers, and team members to ensure consistent application of strategies.

  • Collaborate closely with Mobile Therapists (MTs) and interdisciplinary teams for treatment fidelity.

  • Document outcomes, analyze data, and refine interventions per IBHS and CBH standards.

  • Participate in supervision, case consultations, and quality-improvement activities.

Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a clinical behavioral-health discipline (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Applied Behavior Analysis).

  • Active Pennsylvania license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or BCBA credential; license-eligible applicants considered.

  • Experience conducting FBAs, developing BIPs, and delivering behavior-modification services.

  • A minimum of two (2) years of post-master’s clinical or counseling experience.

  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills to lead multi-systemic treatment planning.

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • BCBA certification preferred.

  • Experience with ADHD, autism spectrum, or behavioral/emotional disorders.

  • Familiarity with IBHS regulations and trauma-informed care.

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

  • Skilled in de-escalation, crisis intervention, and data-based decision-making.

What We Offer
  • $40–$45/hour fee-for-service compensation, paid biweekly for completed sessions and documentation.

  • Flexible scheduling and control over caseload size.

  • Ongoing supervision and professional development.

  • Opportunities to advance within Dunbar’s IBHS program.

  • A supportive, mission-driven team where every Behavior Consultant (BC) is valued as a leader.

Join Dunbar Wellness Group as a Behavior Consultant (BC) — where clinical expertise and compassion create lasting change for children, families, and communities.
