RN MDS Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented MDS Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The MDS Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the completion of Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop individualized care plans

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of MDS assessments

• Maintain medical documentation and records

• Utilize medical coding systems such as ICD-10 for accurate reporting

• Coordinate with health information management teams

• Implement utilization management strategies

• Familiarity with electronic health record system

• Knowledge of long term care regulations

Experience:

• Previous experience in patient care settings

• Proficiency in medical coding and documentation

• Strong understanding of MDS assessment process

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in long-term care facilities

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
