Requirements for Nurse Unit Manager:
Current Massachusetts Nursing License
Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) preferred, but not required
Experience with electronic medical record
PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid leadership abilities
Weekend on call is required, averaging about once per month. Compensation is provided.
Job Duties for Nurse Unit Manager:
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Mentor and lead RN/LPN Staff Nurses in care practices
Ensure continual delivery of high-quality nursing care
Implement infection control updates
Contribute to QAPI analysis and initiatives
