Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated experience in academic advising or student services within an educational setting.
- Knowledge of financial aid processes and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively counsel and engage diverse student populations.
- Proficiency in maintaining and managing student records and advising documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Student Affairs, or a related field.
- Experience working with adult learners and non-traditional students.
- Familiarity with student information systems and advising software.
- Training or certification in academic advising or student counseling.
- Experience in staff development and collaborative program implementation.
Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with institutional policies and regulations.
- Participate in staff development activities to stay current with best practices in academic advising and student services.
- Support adult learners by tailoring advising approaches to meet their unique educational and life circumstances.
- Coordinate with various campus departments to ensure seamless delivery of student services and resources.
