Job Description
Sigmatech is seeking a well qualified Space Operations Training Specialist to support the Mission Delta 9 staff in Colorado Springs, CO.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct classroom instruction for the Orbital Warfare (OW) Initial Qualification Training (IQT), Instruction Qualification Course (IQC), Integrated Academics (IA) Course
- Develop, validate, standardize, and review training products to include lesson plans, scripts, and visual aids, to include for new mission systems
- Coordinate with Squadron leadership on daily operations
- Identify and recommend improvements to training systems
- Support training records maintenance and reviewing curriculum for instructional system design (ISD) compliance
- Manage squadron's strategic training environment plan (training environment includes simulator, classroom, etc)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in space operations and training
Knowledge of and ability to implement ISD principles
Knowledge of and ability to instruct orbital mechanics is desired
Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
Physically able to walk and stand for prolonged amounts of time
In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $120,000 to $140,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.
