Project Chesapeake provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy, & treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, & professional full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a Residential level 3.5 setting!

Responsibilities Include:
- Diagnosing & treating clients in collaboration with clinical colleagues.
- Complete psychiatric evaluations, consultations, treatment planning, medication administration / adjustments, medication assisted treatment (MAT / MOUD), mental status assessments, supportive therapy, and / or crisis intervention.
- Prescribe and / or direct psychotherapeutic treatments or medication to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
- Monitor effects of psychotropic medications on clients.
- Revise / update plan of care based on client progress or lack of progress.
Required Education & Experience:
- Maryland or compact state license as an RN
- CRNP-PMH (or) PMHNP
- Must hold XDEA (Buprenorphine waiver) privileges
- Vivitrol injection experience
- Basic Life Support / CPR
Additional Eligibility Qualifications / Competencies:
- Possesses clinical elements of substance use treatment
- Possesses knowledge of trauma, attachment, & relational models.
- Possesses knowledge of methods for appropriate clinical documentation in a treatment setting.
- Possesses knowledge of techniques for effective assessments & case management.
- Ability to write clear & concise reports.
- Ability to analyze therapeutic processes & determine means of maintaining and / or increasing efficiencies.
- Ability to explain technical / medical terminology to nonexperts.
Hours:
- Full-time
- Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm
