IV PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Grand Prairie TX 75050 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $25.14/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

IV PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The IV Pharmacy Technician will join a fast-paced pharmacy team in Grand Prairie, TX. This position works under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and is responsible for preparing prescriptions, supporting IV preparation, maintaining inventory, and ensuring medications are accurately prepared for dispensing. Candidates who thrive in a high-volume environment and have strong attention to detail are encouraged to apply.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

IV PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fill prescriptions for pharmacist verification
• Prepare medications and assist with IV compounding under pharmacist supervision
• Support pharmacists with daily pharmacy operations
• Enter prescription information into pharmacy systems
• Learn and operate automated medication dispensing equipment
• Assist with medication packaging and preparation for dispensing
• Maintain accurate inventory, including receiving, rotating, and tracking medications
• Monitor medication lot numbers and expiration dates
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment
• Perform equipment cleaning and routine calibration checks
• Assist with physical inventory counts as needed

IV PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required
• IV Certification preferred
• Previous pharmacy technician experience required
• MUST have prior IV compounding experience
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable learning new pharmacy technology and automated dispensing systems
