Retail Sales Person

Thirteen Stripes Landscaping & Lawn Care LLC DBA Patriot Pools & Spas is seeking a part-time Retail Salesperson to support onsite customer interactions in Cornelius, NC.

Position Summary

The Retail Salesperson will help customers with product and service selections while creating a welcoming, professional in-store experience. This role is focused on delivering excellent customer service, supporting sales goals, and maintaining an organized retail environment.

Working onsite in Cornelius, NC, you will be an important part of the day-to-day retail team—engaging with customers, answering questions, and assisting with transactions in a reliable, friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products or solutions for their needs.

• Provide clear, accurate information and help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

• Process customer transactions accurately and support point-of-sale activities.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked retail area to ensure a positive shopping experience.

• Support basic merchandising tasks and inventory awareness as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer-facing roles or demonstrated customer service skills.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers in a friendly, professional manner.

• Comfort working in an onsite environment and handling day-to-day retail activity.

• Basic math and attention to detail for accurate transactions.

• Dependability and a strong work ethic with the ability to work part-time hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with sales goals, promotions, or customer upselling in a retail setting.

• Familiarity with common retail operations such as merchandising and inventory monitoring.

• Experience working in landscaping, home services, or related industries (helpful but not required).

• Ability to multitask during busy periods while maintaining a positive customer experience.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $15.00 - $19.00
