We are looking for friendly and dedicated people to join our privately owned, full-service, modern veterinary hospital for small animals serving Brunswick, MD, and surrounding areas. Our hospital is all digital, utilizing cloud-based practice management software with built-in email communication, digital x-ray, separate dental and surgery suites, variable height workstations, employee lounge area, and more!

  • A warm, energetic, driven, and professional Veterinary Assistant who understands what it takes to create a memorable customer experience.
  • 3 or more years’ experience as a Veterinary Assistant
  • Excellent technical skills and genuinely enjoys working with animals, even when they are having the worst...day...ever.
  • Relishes working cooperatively with clients and teammates to compassionately care for our furry friends.Ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient during a medical crisis.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Assist the doctors and technicians in various aspects of medical, surgical, and dental treatments and procedures.
  • Counsel clients on various aspects of animal care, preventative health, treatment plans and/or procedures.
  • Digital radiography and digital dental x-ray.
  • Accurately prepare and update medical records and reports, enter fees and charges in estimates and accept payments (cash, check, credit, etc.) from clients.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to keep the hospital beautiful and organized.
