Vaccination Pharmacist

Role Overview

Join a high-volume vaccination initiative supporting community health. In this role, you’ll provide safe, compassionate patient care while administering a variety of vaccines (including flu, COVID, MMR, and more). PPE is provided.

• Title: Immunizing RN (Float) — Vaccination Initiative
• Location: 4116 Center Point Road Northeast Cedar Rapids IA 52402 
• Schedule: Sunday–Saturday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM (40hrs/week)
• Job Type: Temporary/Seasonal
• Anticipated Start: August 23, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Administer vaccines in accordance with clinical guidelines and standing orders
• Provide a positive patient experience by leading with empathy and compassion
• Maintain professionalism when interacting with patients and other healthcare professionals
• Adapt quickly in a dynamic, community-based healthcare environment
• Collaborate with on-site team members and contribute to a supportive team culture
• Use strong clinical skills, including medication administration and patient assessment

Required Qualifications

• Full, active, and unrestricted Pharmacist license in Iowa
• Immunization Certification through APhA
• Ability to work the set clinic hours (Monday-Friday, 10am–6pm)
• Confirm you are not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
• Ability to work onsite in a patient-facing role
• BS Pharmacy or PharmD

Preferred Qualifications

• BLS certification (strongly preferred)
• 1+ year experience, including immunizations and providing quality patient care
