COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Horsham PA 19044 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $24.45/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• • Alternating weekends required

COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Compounding Pharmacy Technician will support pharmacy operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Working under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you will assist with prescription fulfillment, IV preparation, inventory management, and maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations. • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fill prescriptions and assist with IV medication preparation under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Enter prescription information into the pharmacy computer system for processing and reimbursement.
• Prepackage medications in accordance with pharmacy standards and government regulations.
• Assist the pharmacist with the final review and packaging of completed prescriptions.
• Coordinate accurate and timely preparation of medications for delivery.
• Receive, stock, rotate, and organize medications and pharmacy supplies.
• Record lot numbers and expiration dates while assisting with inventory management and physical inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy work environment.
• Inspect pharmacy equipment for proper calibration, cleanliness, and safe operation.
• Follow all applicable pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility to obtain licensure required.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience.
• Experience preparing IV medications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and accurate data entry skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
