Employee Relations Specialist
Location: 570 Washington Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07310
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Pay Rate: $57–$60/hr W2
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (CTH)
Interview Process: Two rounds
Position Overview
We are seeking an Employee Relations Associate to support a broad range of employee relations cases, workplace investigations, and strategic projects. This role will help mitigate organizational risk, support business objectives, and promote a healthy and inclusive work environment.
The associate will also analyze case trends and other data, assist with process automation and AI-enabled initiatives, and provide administrative support that advances the organization’s Employee Relations strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support workplace investigations by taking detailed interview notes, drafting interview and case summaries, preparing documentation, and updating the Employee Relations Tracker.
- Manage and contribute to various Employee Relations projects and administrative activities.
- Partner with stakeholders to monitor and improve system functionality.
- Support the onboarding and implementation of a new technology vendor.
- Prepare required Employee Relations reports and analyze case trends, external developments, and project data.
- Use Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and present data.
- Administer ADA accommodation requests and other standard Employee Relations processes.
- Develop presentations, reports, and communication materials using Microsoft Office tools.
- Communicate relevant information to HR partners and other stakeholders.
- Support ad hoc projects and general Employee Relations administration.
- Assist with process automation and the use of AI to improve standard workflows.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of two years of relevant business experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion and care.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project-management skills.
- Demonstrated flexibility, learning agility, and adaptability.
- Ability to learn and work effectively with new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Human Resources, employee relations, paralegal work, workplace investigations, or project management.
- Experience preparing investigation notes, case summaries, reports, or other sensitive documentation.
- Familiarity with HR case-management systems, reporting tools, process automation, or AI-enabled workflows.
