Hardware Store Associate/Supervisor

The Hardware Store Associate/Supervisor plays a vital role in delivering excellent customer service while managing day-to-day store operations. This position involves assisting customers with product selection, overseeing inventory, and supervising a small team of employees. Reporting directly to the owner, the supervisor ensures smooth store functionality through effective team leadership, safety compliance, and operational management using a POS system integrated with inventory controls.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product inquiries and purchases
• Manage inventory using POS system with integrated controls
• Process sales transactions and cash handling efficiently
• Supervise and support a small team of 1-5 employees
• Replenish stock and maintain attractive merchandising displays
• Provide team training and enforce safety compliance
• Process orders and coordinate store opening and closing procedures
• Deliver ongoing customer support to resolve issues or concerns

Required Qualifications
